Gwen Johnson became involved with real estate in 1997, after working over a decade in Social Services and transitional housing. Her broad experience includes familiarity with all aspects of new home construction within the local market as well as existing homes.
Gwen enjoys working with a range of home buyers, from those looking to purchase their first home to seasoned investors. Through her extensive knowledge, Gwen is able to advise on a variety of topics including loan information, investment properties and new construction projects.
Gwen and her team have consistently been in the top 10 for production in the corridor area for over a decade.
Courtney Ressler is originally from the Cedar Rapids area, moving to North Liberty in 2000. After working in the mortgage industry for seven years and then for a real estate appraiser, Courtney made the transition to real estate. She joined Skogman Realty Coralville in 2009 as the office manager. Since then, Courtney has become a licensed agent and has been working in both residential and commercial real estate.
Growing up in the Cedar Rapids area, then moving to the Corridor has helped Courtney in knowing both markets. And with a background in both finance and appraising, Courtney can assist both buyers and sellers in whatever needs they may have.
John Hall is the newest member of the Johnson Team. John is originally from northeast Iowa, and came to Iowa City to attend the University of Iowa. After receiving his degree in Anthropology, with an emphasis in archaeology, he worked in the University of Iowa’s Office of the State Archaeologist, and later transitioned to the UI Admissions office. After 10+ years at the University of Iowa he decided to follow his interest in real estate and join the Johnson Team.
Utilizing the experience he gained in helping students transition to the area, paired with his familiarity of the corridor’s neighborhoods and schools, John can assist buyers and sellers with their move, both into the area and across town.
Kelly Schnoebelen started her career in real estate as a closing administrator in 2002 and after seven years, transitioned into the mortgage industry as a loan processor. She realized then that hands-on real estate was what she truly enjoyed, and joined The Gwen Johnson Team in early 2013 as the client coordinator manager.
With a wide knowledge base, Kelly is excited to be another strong asset to the team and to assist buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions and beyond.
Ron Heck is the “Sign Man” for the Gwen Johnson Team, he has worked with Gwen for the past eight years. An Iowa City/Coralville resident for the past 30 years, Ron brings his familiar knowledge of the area to the team.
Ron has a commercial driver’s license and has worked many years as a successful dairyman and as an Iowa City school bus driver.
We feel lucky to have Ron out and about to be the eyes and ears of the team.
Carrie Mulford moved to Iowa City in 2001 to attend the University of Iowa where she graduated with a degree in psychology and business management. While in school, she worked for Gap Inc. for five years and also gained an interest in real estate, leading her to join the Gwen Johnson Team as office manager in 2006.
With her degree background, she is delighted to help buyers and sellers make their transition as smooth as possible. Carrie is glad to be working with such a great team and looks forward to working with you.
